not necessary a full scholarship…but what is a typical amount and how often does that occur?

I don’t know the numbers, but you could look at A&M’s website for the number of scholarships they give out. I believe the Presidential Scholarship is full tuition & fees. The catch is that you have to maintain a 3.5 and a lot of people aren’t able to do that.

I have heard that A&M is generous with national merit scholarships.

The Corps of Cadets also gives out quite a lot of scholarships for Corps members. Most Corps members receive a $2,000 scholarship and there are others ranging up to $10,000.

Yes, National Merit Finalists in state get a full ride. I am not sure about OOS. I know they get their OOS tuition waived at a minimum. I know kids that also got smaller scholarships based upon their SAT scores. I can’t remember if it was 1300(M/CR)?
