Do the admission people consider Canadians as diversity ingredients? What sat scores do canadians need to be in th ball park? What sort of ec’s?

I think that you would be considered in the same pool with the US applicants.

I don’t think coming from Toronto or a suburb of same would be much of a diversity hook.
Maybe coming from Quebec and being of French Ancestory,( or from the Yukon) would be considered a diversity hook. (But I don’t know)

So your SAT and GPA and EC’s would have to be competitive with the rest of the Accepted Class.

Princeton lists ranges of SAT for Applicants. Admitted Students and Enrolled Students

It’s probably a pretty good indication of the SAT ranges for other Selective Schools also.

More importantly you need to identify what programs you are interested in and how the college would help you meet your educational goals.

Buddy, forget about everything and give it a shot! seriously I made it, and so did my friend and i didnt think i would!
go for it, you wont regret it!

what were your stats?

i dont think they get considered “diversity ingredients”, but they get treated about the same as everyone else from the states. Definitely apply though, you will regret it if u dont apply.

I see, thanks for the replies everyone. They’re very helpful.
