I’m very interested in the field of foreign affairs and international relations. At top schools like Georgetown, JHU, UCB, UChicago, and even prestigious schools like Harvard, Stanford, UPenn what is a student life like for an international relations major. Is it a lot of essay writing and reading, or are there more practical/hands on learning, like debates and traveling. Also, how are the job prospects. Do most grads find work after college? If so, what are the job prospects?

~~To clarify, my question is regarding undergrad studies
