I am a korean student who transferred to AMerican school as a freshman. And I am currently taking

AP English Lit
AP Calc
AP Chemistry
AP Economics
Spanish III-transferred to bigger school during sophomore yr, that’s why only was able to take three years.
CHinese II- same goes here
Religion-required cuz private catholic school

trust me, it’s really good. altho many people on here might say otherwise. i kinda depends on how hard your school’s classes are, tho. in my school, the val and sal probably take about 4 AP classes in Jr year. and we sent about 20% of our kids to top 20 schools, lol.

That seems about the same as most competative people take. I myself am taking 5 APs, 1 honors, and 1 regular for a tech credit. Last year I took four AP and one honors also.

I think it’s very good, especially considering that it is the best you could fit into your schedule, so it reflects well on you that you are taking the toughest load your school offers. I’m sure your counsellor will note this on the recommendation form. Good luck! (:
