How risky is Standby Testing?

Due to extenuating circumstances, I’ve decided I need to take two subject tests on the December date, for which I’m not registered. I have to do standby testing, but are the test centers usually equipped with extra tests or do they obtain their booklets solely on the number of registered test-takers?

In other words, how much of a shot do I have of actually being able to take a test on standby?

I took standby testing for subject tests and had no problems. Usually they have more tests than testers, so I would go for it.

You need to bring a registration packet, which I got from my school office.

I even got my scores back the same day as non-standby takers.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Do score reports work the same way for standby testers? Is there a space for score reports on the registration packet?
