How Schools are CURRENTLY Handling Remote Learning

With school decisions being at the forefront for many families this week, it might be helpful if we create a list of schools and how they are currently handling their remote educational programs. I feel it could be illuminating into the culture of each school.

Well I will go ahead and weigh in on what I know— mostly anecdotally, so feel free to correct me:

Andover - asynchronous learning (i.e. students given work to complete on their own), all classes pass/fail
Cambridge School of Weston (Weston MA) - virtual classes (shortened) plus asynchronous learning, all classes pass/fail
Groton - virtual classes (shortened) plus asynchronous learning
Hockaday (Dallas) - virtual classroom 9a-3:15p daily
Milken School (Los Angeles) - virtual classroom 8:30a-2:45p daily
Phoenix Country Day - combination virtual classroom & asynchronous learning
Rivers School (Weston MA) - virtual classroom 8a-4p w/breaks throughout school day
