How secure is CSS Profile

I tried filling out the CSS profile using Google chrome. Chrome puts up a warning symbol in the url next to the https: part, and after a little looking I found that the warning means

“The site uses SSL, but Google Chrome has detected either high-risk insecure content on the page or problems with the site’s certificate. Don’t enter sensitive information on this page. Invalid certificate or other serious https issues could indicate that someone is attempting to tamper with your connection to the site.”

This a little worrying for a site that collects such detailed financial information. I called their support line, and they said that Chrome is not supported…just use Explorer. In other words, trust your vital financial information to the people who brought you Vista. Sorry, but if Chrome tells me there may be a security issue, I am going to listen.

Any thoughts?

It’s secured, don’t worry about it.

You seem to have already made up your mind. If you don’t want to apply, don’t apply then.

I believe the Google Chrome will issue this warning if the page includes links to pages that are not secure. There may be other factors that cause this error, but do not mean the site is not secure. Unfortunately, there is no real way for you to know exactly why Chrome is issuing this warning.
