<p>How selective are the international Duke Engage programs? I am guessing they vary country to country, but does anybody know a rough idea about selectivity? Also, how exactly are students chosen (application with essays, GPA, extracurriculars while at Duke, some combination)?</p>

<p>As you have already guessed, the selectivity depends on the location. I was actually rejected by the only location I wanted to go to.</p>
<p>Some locations are quite selection, while other locations are not selective at all. I remember about a year or two ago, the program admins were spamming people to apply to a specific location. Can’t remember where.</p>
