<p>For Essay Topic 1, “Tell us about a person that influenced you in a significant way”, I talked about the nordic god Tyr. I didn’t even explain exactly how he influenced me. I just told them about him, quite literally. Would Princeton be cool with this?</p>

<p>When schools ask you to write about someone who influenced you, you dont actually write an essay about someone who influenced you. You write about YOURSELF. and their impact on YOU. The focus should be YOU. Percentage wise, only 20% of the essay is actually about your influence.</p>
