How short/long an essay is TOO short/long?

<p>Thoughts? I know it’s quite a subjective idea, but just wondering your opinions (particularly admission geek if possible)</p>

<p>My essay was once 650 words, but I shortened it to 430. I now think this may be TOO short, but I feel like I said everything I needed to say. Too short of an essay?</p>

<p>650 is fine… theyre gonna read it either way. and they wont get mad for 150 words</p>

<p>I believe that if you can say what you want to in 430 words, then 430 words is the correct length.</p>
