<p>As I’m reading these chance me threads, I’m mesmerized at how everyone can maintain above 4.0 GPAs and are the presidents of many clubs. It intimidates me a little because I think my ECs are weak. </p>
<p>Here they are:
-AVID: In my 3rd year so far, I’m the student president
-Key Club: 2 years, I hope to be an officer by next year
-Student-Teacher Club: A club for HS students who are interested in tutoring elementary students and becoming students. I just joined this year.
-GSA: Joined this year, I hope to be attain some type of leadership position next year
-Youth Group: Been here for a while but I don’t attend every week (Sunday mornings are for hw)
-I’ve been playing the guitar since 7th grade </p>
<p>My freshman grades were: 3.5/3.8 (weighted)
Sophomore year (so far): 3.8</p>
<p>I’m only a sophomore, I know I have a lot of time to develop my academic and extracurricular resume. I really want advice on how I can improve and possibly get into UCLA or other UCs.</p>
