I’m a 16 yrs old student from a country which follows the British education system with the O levels and the A levels. In primary school (7-12 years old), I joined science club from primary 3 onwards till primary 6. I have won the first place for the Actions for Earth competition and went to Vietnam for an educational trip as a reward. In secondary school (13-16 years old) , I joined Green Club and got into the top 20 teams for a panasonic eco ideas challenge. I have participated in other related competitions but failed to achieve much. So I was thinking, should I go for another CCA in junior college (17-18 years old)? Will 2 years of commitment in a CCA suffice ( I will try to achieve some stuff) or should I continue Green Club in junior college? What else should I do to make my ECs better? From which year will they start to consider my achievements? (In primary school, I have better records like the vice-president of the student council and many other acad achievements like UNSW distinctions and top 10% of my school and have participated and organised events)
As for my academics, I have obtained top 25% in my school for sec 1, top 10% for sec 2&3. I have received the N5 level Japanese proficiency Test and I’m currently taking higher chinese. Currently, my subjects are English, elementary math, advanced math, higher chinese, pure bio, pure phy, pure chem, full geog, elective hist, social studies and pe. What else can I do? I know I have to take my SATs and I plan to take it in year one of my JC. What else do I need to do to make my ECs and Acads better? Please advice me thanks:)
