How should I prepare for the ACT, got 2 months?

What should I do to improve my scores in reading, english and sciences? I am a bad reader and I think that is the downfall for those 3 subjects. I usually ignore math because I easily get a 30+ on it. I want to get a 33+ on the ACT on October to show my parents that I can do amazing things. How should I prepare from now on?

BTW - if you cannot tell by my name, I am going to be a senior after summer! :)

Get Kaplan, PR, Real ACT and do the practice tests over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over until you’ve basically memorized all the questions.

^^^ i second what s2k said

Will do :)

more like get every book on teh shelf and go through ALL OF THEM! i did it and i improved my composite score by 4 points and increased significantly in every subject

well… peterson’s is pretty bad… i think it’s way too hard… so don’t do that one (put it this way… i took a peterson’s reading section and missed 17 questions… which is like a 20… well, on this last ACT, my reading score was a 34… so obviously peterson’s is pretty awful)

Definitely buy The Real ACT Book (the red one).

no i say do the harder tests! i used peterson too…missed like 24 on a science section, giving me a 16 or something, got a 30 on the real thing. it makes the real act seem so much easier. if you can get through a hard one, you are ready for anything

Peterson’s … eww 3 tests only. Go to march2success.com and register (army based, but wth) and it gives you 7 peterson’s test FREE, so instead of paying money for petersons, just go to that site

How doe the Peterson’s math section compare to the actually ACT scores? I did a bit worse than I usually do.
