Hey everyone, here’s my situation. I really want to go to a great school next year but I’m not sure what I’m going to do this semester. We are on block scheduling at my school… and my schedule is: AP Calc II, AP psych, AP english lit, and AP Art History. I marked on my application that I will be running track… but at the same time I really need to start saving up for college and I don’t have much spending money to finish my senior year. Doing both is definitely impossible and I don’t know which to do. Do colleges check to see if you followed through on things like this? I really do enjoy track… but I think working might end up being better for me overall.
The only school that would care in my list of admissions would probably be Notre Dame… and it’s my #1 choice. I doubt my other schools would even care because I do have strong academics and involvement. So in the end, playing a sport mainly partly to please Notre Dame may not even be worth it if I don’t get in… I really don’t know… does anyone have any advice?
