I’ve done French olympiads with distinction, french speeches with prizes earlier, and am planning to give DELF exams to show my proficiency in the language( already given level A2). But I feel that my activities are not enough to be that impressive, so can anyone please suggest me what else can i do to show my interest in the language? I’ll also be giving SAT Subject test French(without listening) …

<p>No, AP is not necessary in this situation, it is sort of like you are riding a bike and you also want to show that you can ride a tricycle–not necessary or desirable, the SATII is sufficient. NO student is expected to take AP if not offered at their school.</p>
<p>It sounds like you have shown extensively that you have interest and ability with French language. </p>
<p>When they ask about what you want to study on the common app, make sure you put French… It’s that simple.</p>
