How should I start studying for the Math II test and Physics test?

I am starting school on September 6th and I’m taking the ACT this Saturday(Sept. 8th). I am willing to still start studying now but should I wait until my ACT is over… or no? I got a 33 on my last two practice ACT tests and my target scores a 34 so idk.

I have the Barrons book already and one real Collegeboard math II test from the big blue book.

Are there any resources you recommend I use? Maybe a website? Any plan I should set up for myself? It’s the only standardized test I’m taking in October unless I score below a 33 on the ACT this Saturday. I’m also taking the Physics SAT II in November. I only have one college board real physics test. No other books. Idk what to get? What should my study plan for that be?

Overall pretty strong student at math. algebra 95,98. geometry, 95,100. trig, 99, 86(switched to worst teacher ever second term). pre calc 95,98

Physics: 96,98

I recommend getting a book specific for math 2 because precalc will not have covered some topics you need to know such as polar coordinates and hyperbola and ellipses I recommend the Princeton review

@stownman21, Polar coordinates and conics are typically found in a pre-calculus course (but not necessarily every one). Math II can also include questions on limits, matrices, trig, complex numbers, and statistics, including finding a linear/quadratic regression (which may not be covered in most pre-calculus courses).

Unfortunately I didn’t prepare for SAT Physics (I had taken an AP Physics C - Mech course) so I don’t know which review book is best. I was able to pull a 740 without that much E/M knowledge. It seems like about 75% of the physics test is on Newtonian mechanics. So make sure you are solid at that. It also helps to know some basic E/M, especially if you want to get an 800.

yeah i already did polar coordinates not conic sections tho.

and will princeton be able to teach me the material on my own? or should i get a tutor?

and ahh I see I’m in AP physics B but that won’t do much lol only gonna be in it for 2 months before the test. Anyone know which book is best for physics yet??
