I am taking AP Bio right now, and I want to know how similar they are. When I took a practice test, I got a score of 5 on my AP Bio exam. How will this correlate to my Bio Subject Score? Is it harder to get a higher score? How many can you get incorrect in the SAT Subject Test and still maintain a decent score?

You'll probably do very well if you got a 5. My tutors (at UCLA graduate school I think) told me that the AP is more detailed and SAT is a broad understanding. You can choose to take the Ecology or Molecular section. Ecology has a better curve because most people think it's harder.

As for the scores (I digged out my Barron's)

Biology E - 800 (Raw score - 73-80), 790 (Raw score - 72), 780 (Raw Score - 70-71)
Biology M - 800 (Raw score - 76-80), 790 (Raw score - 75), 780 (Raw Score - 73-74)

Hope this helps. =)

Thank you.

So, there are 80 questions I assume?
