How small is too small?

<p>My Common App essay is about 430 words, and I think it’s pretty good. It does say “250 - 500”. Everyone here’s busy debating how big is too big, though, and I’m getting really nervous that mine is too small. Advice?</p>

<p>Well that sounds perfect. It’s within the range and it’s on the higher end. They’re not going to be like “this essay doesn’t exceed the guidelines! Not ok!”</p>
