Is the Multiple choice on AP Bio and Ap Euro specific or is it just needed to know the highlights of each course?

Biology, from what I have seen of samples, can sometimes be very specific. Oh, and from what I hear, Euro. relies a great deal on memorization, so I’d assume you really need to know a lot of details, such as dates, names, etc. for that.
