How Strong of an Applicant am I?

<p>Hey everyone, as final SAT scores and senior grades come in, I just wanted to put my stats out again to see how strong of an applicant I am. I’m not asking for chances to specific places per se, but I’ll put the schools I’m applying to at the bottom to maybe give a better picture as to what I’m shooting for.</p>

<p>Ethnicity: Dual citizen - Colombia/ US (live in US)</p>

SAT II: US History - (740); Spanish w/ Listening - (760)
AP: USH (3)
Class rank: School doesn’t rank, within top 10% out of 205.</p>

<p>Course load</p>

<p>9- all honors
10- all honors
11- all honors, 1 AP
12- final schedule: AP English, AP Spanish, AP Psychology, AP Euro History, Calculus H, theology 12 (required) (MAX APs allowed per year: 4)</p>

<p>200+ hours at soup kitchen in impoverished neighborhood in US</p>

<p>So I guess I’m wondering how strong of an applicant I would be at these schools. Am I in the running for these places? Thanks for your help in advance!</p>

<p>I’d say you are a very strong applicant. Your grades may be somewhat inflated because you have only taken 1 AP through Jr year. Regardless, your Senior Year schedule looks extremely difficult, so do well in them. EC’s look full.</p>

<p>You look like the average applicant to top schools, meaning an average (low) chance of acceptance.</p>
