How the heck do you prep for the SAT 2 Writing essay?

<p>Do I have accumlate and memorize info on every possible catgory?</p>

<p>for the essay, I memorized some general stuff that could be used for almost any type of essay( eg.:general, historical events, a couple of book plots) and used many of them in my essay. Then I just wrote, remembering to fill the page and have 5 paragraphs.</p>

<p>I had so much trouble with the one in November, about science and arts. It was hard for me to think of substantial support. I guess making references to literature is a safe way to do it. What kinds of books did you refer to?</p>

<p>I read some stuff on sparknotes.com about it. Plus in my AP English Comp class we do a 40 minute in class essay every week, and my teacher used to grade SAT and AP essays so he tells us how to score well.</p>
