In Common app , we can mention how many community colleges the student has attended, but can’t mention the courses and grades. If it was not included in high school transcript, where do you mention the courses and grades?
You don’t report those grades unless the school uses something like the SSAR or the courses and grades section. You will need to send a transcript from each college attended to whatever school you choose though.
Thank you for the information. So the colleges recalculate the overall gpa using the transcript for school and community colleges?
Most of the time college decisions are based on courses taken in high school for high school credit. The exception is dual enrollment, but that is not the case here. They should recalculate the GPA based on the high school classes and the difficulty of them. Like AP will get more of a boost then regular.
You can include this information in the additional information section. Schools, courses and grades. While they will look at them, they won’t recalculate your GPA to include them unless they are DE classes.
We can add courses and grade if it is high school. But in the drop down list of school, the community college is not allowed though I have mentioned in the College & university section Education.
