The families of the 2 BFFs mentioned above are really conservative Muslim and are apparently not comfortable with their DDs living on their own or in a dorm on or off campus. The parents grew up overseas and their culture is one in which females live at home until they get married. 1 of the girls told D24 that when she gets older, she’s going to have an arranged marriage.
Honestly, it’s been an amazing friendship for my kid.
