How to answer PRINCETON short questions application

I’m in the process of answering the short questions in the Princeton application, questions like ‘Your favorite book and its author’. Do I have to answer with a short answer or explain it. For example, mine is 1984 by George Orwell, so do I have to explain why it’s my favorite book or should I just answer the question?

@minta98 - check the word or character limit and write accordingly

Just answer the question.

Well interestingly enough there is no character or word limit, which is why I am confused

@minta98 - I just checked CA and there is a 50 character limit. That should tell you how to answer those questions.
