How to answer the "what was your SAT score" question?

<p>sorry, I should have clarified. None of the people with an SAT score that I KNOW OF has gotten below 1800…</p>

<p>It’s self selective–people who show off and parade their scores are more likely to have done better.</p>

<p>I don’t think it really matters cause you aren’t competing with them or anything. I’d be fine if I were to disclsose my score to an upper or lower classman, but never to people in my same grade.
I’d usually be vague, and just say “I did alright.” And if there being pests about it, just stare at them and jokingly respond “I did OKAYY gawshh” haha.</p>
