How to answer this interview question?

Hey everyone! GWU is pretty much my top choice school, and I have my interview coming up next month. I’m actually really excited about it because I love talking about my passions and the ECS I’ve dedicated myself to for the past couple of years, but the only question I am nervous about answering is the Why GW one?

Can you guys weigh in on how to answer this? I don’t want to go too in depth, but don’t want to brush over it either. The reason I am applying is because I’m very interested in both politics and communications, and GW had the perfect setting for both. Plus, I loved the urban campus as compared to the traditional campuses you run into in most other DC schools (there would be tons of networking and awesome opportunities just walking from one building to the next!). Also, I thought it was really cool when it was announced that Osama bin Laden had been captured and all the GW students flooded to the White House to celebrate. Also, GW has an Oxford study abroad program, and help for pursuing a Rhodes Scholarship which is my dream, and they have a Jane Austen class and she’s my ultimate favorite author!

So if you guys can’t tell, I’ve done my research but wouldn’t going into all that sound like overkill in an interview? How do I sum it up into a nice, concise answer?

All of that sounds very good. YOu don;t have to be concise- let them know you know what you are talking about.
