How to appeal college placement?

<p>I’m rooming with my friend and we put down:</p>

<p>1) Porter
2) Cowell
3) Merrill
etc.</p>

<p>I only put down Merrill since my friend kinda liked it, though we both agreed on Porter and Cowell over it. But we both got placed in Merrill - and I absolutely HATE Merrill. </p>

<p>Is there any way I can appeal this? I heard that there’s some sort of appeal process to change colleges or something.</p>
