I’m currently a community college student that has run into some trouble with academic integrity with the past. I’ve been in CC for about a year now, and I am getting ready to apply to colleges for spring 2015 transfer. Most of the college counselors from various schools have told me that I should get a character reference specific to my academic integrity situation, which would mean that I would have to tell my professors about my past. How should I approach my professors next semester in a way that won’t antagonize me?</p>
