How to be a strong candidate- DrPH Program?

I recently applied for an MPH- Social & Behavioral Sciences track (although schools have slight variations of this name).

I’ve been accepted to the 6 schools I’ve heard from and am waiting to hear back from a few others.

While in my MPH program, what are some pointers/opportunities that I should take advantage of if I want to be a competitive DrPH Candidate?

For DrPh programs… is your undergrad leadership experience or research experience looked at anymore? Or do DrPH programs just focus on how you did in grad school (GPA) and what activities you’ve involved yourself in, research, etc.

Thanks!
