How to be a "volunteer" for studies?

<p>I was just wondering how you get into this type of stuff for extra money.</p>

<p>I was also wondering if there are opportunities for studies with children. I have a 2 year old son and, while I don’t want any crazy tests done on him, I think it would be kind of cool to have him help out in some research if possible.</p>

<p>They often post ads for (paid) volunteers (like for psych experiments) in the Union, near the bookstore. For medical studies, they may post in the various clinics. Or just contact each likely department and ask how to find out about opportunities.</p>
