So I was caught my freshman year for cheating during my Spanish test, my GC was seriously ****ed at me. I don’t think my GC will ever pardon me and I’m sure she will include my academic offense on my recommendation. I must admit that I was stupid my freshman year. Even though my application didn’t ask for any academic offense, should I still explain my cheating on my application just to be honest to the schools that I’m applying to? I know my GC will probably write an explanation of my offense, but should I still write something to the boarding schools? I know cheating is an automatic reject at some prep schools but I will still take a shot.

bump… Anyone can help me out?

Schedule an appointment with your GC and discuss it. At the least it will show some maturity.
