How to be patient when waiting for your scores?

I’m going insane. I just took the April ACT this past saturday and I’m already checking the act website to see if my score is up. I’m so nervous and time is going by in an extraordinarily slow manner.

Advice?

Don’t keep checking. They won’t be up until 12 or more days have passed! (And even then you’ll have to use a special link that’s posted somewhere around this forum)

Ask your doctor to put you into a clinically induced coma.

Tell your doctor to wait 14 days before waking you up.

Check ACT scores when you wake up.

If not up go back to Step 1.

If up = profit

what is the special link?

Yeah, what special link are you talking about, hville7?

The Feb test score was available 12 days after test, I don’t know if they will be that quick this month too. I’m sure people will post here when scores are available. Your status on your ACT account will have to change from “registered” to “tested” for this to work.

This should work for sure in chrome, I don’t know about other browsers. I’m summarizing the steps which can be found on a CC thread called “Get your ACT scores now”.

  1. Log onto your ACT web account.
  2. Click “your test dates and scores”, make sure your status is tested for this to work.
  3. Click the test date and in the url there should be an 8 digit code (I think it should start with 3) and you should write that down.
  4. Make sure you’re still logged in, and paste the following url into your address bar:
    javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp? pdf.x=1&regId=xxxxxxxx’,800,800)
you will probably have to retype the javascript: part if you paste into chrome. MAKE SURE TO DELETE THE SPACES AFTER THE QUESTION MARK
  5. Replace the “xxxxxxxx” with your 8 digit code from before. Leave everything else the same. Then hit enter! (if the popup says “null”, you missed a space)
  6. If your scores are available, your score report should pop up! Otherwise it will say something about them not being available yet.

REMEMBER THIS WILL NOT WORK YET.

3 weeks is nothing compared to the 4 months we’ll be waiting for college decisions.

@Relativelysmart… I love that idea. I’d rather be in a coma than wait for my score!
@TheKongo… You are so right… my life sucks!!!
