How to break 2200's?

Hey I recently took a practice PSAT I obtained online and printed and scored a 2240 (720 CR, 790 M, 730 W).

However I only made two errors in the writing section and they were stupid and careless! Same thing in CR! The math question I missed was obscure so go figure.

So what I want to ask you is how do you cut down on these unforced errors? I scored a 187 on the PSAT I took in October of last year as a sophomore and I just started studying SAT at the beginning of June of this year. I am amazed how I was able to boost my score all the way up to a 2240 without much work, just a couple of tests and reviewing grammar rules.

Practice and you will catch the tricks (no need to waste thousands of dollars on superfluous tutors or classes). Just do previous ACTUAL tests and you will see that it is not a test of intelligence.

The first time around, I scored a 2250. I did a bunch of practice tests, and my score jumped 150 points. Don’t waste your money; just pick up one of those blue books with 10 practice tests.
