how to break into the clique of popular girls?

Hi, I’m an asian, and I’m outgoing, average looking and a little athletic, I really want to hang out with those popular girls and go to the parties with them because that’s alot of fun, I have some friends but they are not so fun, anyone has any advice to break into the clique of popular girls?
Thanks

You could rush a sorority if you are interested in parties with popular girls. But I wonder why you would want to be part of a group you have to “break into”. Just me, don’t see the appeal…

What school do you go to, out of curiosity?

Outside of TV this isn’t really a thing… Be yourself, you’ll wind up finding people you like to be with.

There are popular girls in college? Hmm…

Are they in a specific club? Major? Sorority? Whatever it is, try to do that too. But remember, these girls aren’t the be all to end all. College is full of amazing people.

Ignore them. If your personality and interests matched theirs you would have already been in that clique.

Wow… I didn’t realize people in college cared about the “popular crowd” anymore. That’s more middle school/high school behavior. To be honest, if you have to ‘break in’ to a group of people then that means that they’re not worth your time. You shouldn’t have to change yourself to be accepted by certain people. And to be honest, most of them won’t be your ‘real’ friends anyway. I wouldn’t trust them.

I’m in liberal arts college, and we don’t have sorority…

As others have said, if it’s a clique that you have to “break into” then they probably aren’t the right people for you. In my experience, the “popular crowd” in college doesn’t even really exist. You should worry more about finding people that will develop a natural friendship with. If you had the potential for a natural friendship with the “popular girls” as you put it, then you would probably just become friends with them naturally. College is a great time to meet awesome people with common interests. You shouldn’t worry about being in the “popular clique.”
