How to check application status (RD)

<p>I saw some people asking how to check the status of their application… so I thought I’d post this.</p>

<p>Disclaimer: This worked for me, and I sent in my application on December 29th. So in other words, you didn’t have to have sent in your application sometime in like November to be able to check. It might work for you, or it might not. Just keep checking and good luck! :)</p>

<p>1.) <p>Thanks so much! I did mine, and they sent me an e-mail back real quick. (:
I have everything processed except SAT scores, which I have sent (and it shows in my collegeboard sent scores history as request still pending), so hooray!
Now I don’t have to worry about whether my teachers and counselors have sent the recommendation stuff. Not that I doubted them in the first place, but yeah, heard of crazy stuff happening. D:</p>

<p>didn’t work for me either, said it couldn’t find my email. I only applied Jan 1st, so I’ll wait a few more days before I contact them</p>

<p>It sent me an email, but the email basically said “We’ll get back to you. Too much mail to file right now.” haha</p>

<p>Well, I submitted mine the day of (Jan. 1), so you were a few days ahead of me, eatsalot :)</p>

<p>Hopefully they get to it soon!!!</p>

<p>AHHH!! I just imagined the Admissions Committee with my app on the projector screen, debating whether or not to let me in!</p>

<p>Guy 1: “Hmm his test scores are solid…”
Girl: 1: "Well, yeah, but I hate his essays!’
Guy 2: “Really?! I loved them!”
Guy 1: “I thought they were average.”
Girl 2: “Decent ECs…lots of passion, I say admit him.”
Guy 2: “Me too!”
Guy 1 + Girl 1: “Oh, c’mon! You’ve gotta be kidding me! Reject!”</p>

<p>^No offence, but I’ll be very disappointed if the debates of Adcoms actually sound like that…:p</p>

<p>Guy 1: “Put the names in the hat.”
Guy 2: “Done.”
Guy 1: “Mmk, now draw like 1500 of them.”</p>

<p>Got the reply this morning saying that they didn’t have any records of me yet. Although I did submit on the first. Has anyone else had a similar situation? Or the reverse, where you submitted the first and did get confirmation?</p>

<p>Ok so I submitted everything through the commonapp! Supplement, application, teacher &counselor recs…pretty much everything except scores &transcript.</p>

<p>The site says that it has my fee, application, and supplement. but not the teacher and counselor recs which are both through the commonapp site as well! is that weird?</p>

<p>^ No. Mine says the exact same thing, even though my teachers/counselor submitted all that stuff months ago. They just haven’t linked it to your app yet</p>

<p>Same, and I figured that it was because they haven’t been able to hook that stuff up yet since it’s so soon.</p>

<p>hey what about this situation: </p>

<p>my counselor sent her rec out in september. my teachers sent theirs in about nov/dec and both are recorded in the system, but my counselor’s rec isn’t. harvard and princeton have received the counselor’s recs, so at least i know she sent them out and that all of them were put into the mail…</p>

<p>should i wait it out? it’s been 3 months and, seeing how my teachers recs went in before my counselor’s, i have a suspicion something went wrong…</p>
