My goodness! Just came across this thread and it really is crazy how obnoxious co-workers can be! Your situation with FAB makes my *****y team member seem tame. I hope things are calmer when you return on Monday. But if not, if I were you, having been there for 23 years, I would meet privately with boss/owner and have a frank discussion about FAB and her behavior, and this is where the documentation comes into usage - rather than just whining, you have a list of rude comments, insults, lies, etc. I have to believe that 23 years means something to your boss. Really hoping you return to a better situation.

I am the OP. Looking at the date on this thread, I am amazed how time flies. Since the last post, the office dynamics changed again and FAB decided I was her BFF; she has focused her jabs on the new girl. But the reason I am posting is to let you know FAB is leaving at the end of this month! Her husband has been transferred and she is quitting to prepare for their move. The rest of us get along well, and I’m hoping that continues. happy dance
Well that’s good. Amazing what a little time will do. My situation changed too - the co-worker I was clashing with became a great friend after about a year. My favorite work friend. But she is an overly sensitive person - who got into a few clashes this spring with other people - management realy came down in her - and she left in May. I was really sorry to see her go and we remain in touch. A strange turn of events.
@musicmom15: I’m delighted for you. And very glad you didn’t have to leave.
