How to deal with major cravings?

So i’m on break, and since I was in school I began having the weirdest cravings for junk food. I did lose a lot of weight (ten pounds) while at school. And, now that I’m home I want to go crazy. Like here are my cravings…

Pepperoni Pizza
Hamburgers
Fries
Oreo’s
Vanilla Ice cream
Dorito’s
Oreo’s + Vanilla Ice Cream + Milk to make an Oreo milkshake
Snapple
Everything in Popeye’s and McDonals.

I want all this now, and its killing me. I know I can’t be the only person who gets cravings during break. Its been happening on every break now, and its getting out of control. But, I want these things SO bad. My family thinks I’m nuts 'cause I want all of these at once -_-

Treat yourself to one of those things a day, and try to keep yourself busy. I don’t know about you, but I find that I want to eat more if I get bored.

Don’t buy any of those and fill up the pantry.
Make a bargain with yourself…
I will workout/exercise for an hour then allow myself to go to the grocery store to buy a SINGLE serving of one of my cravings.

Thin feels better than all that junk food tastes.
You don’t want to go back heavier than before the break.
Vanity will help curb your appetite.

I would get everything except for the Mcdonalds; food served at that particular chain can be acquired from another place.

If you wanna get serious about it, set some fitness goals and count your calories. If you have specific goals to work for, you won’t be so inclined to give in

I’d try eating something healthy every time you have that kind of craving. Either some fruit or at least something like a Kashi granola bar. Often times, cravings are triggered by something. If you can start associating those triggers with healthier foods then maybe you’ll stop craving junk food.

At least, that’s the logic behind fighting cigarette cravings (which I’ve had to deal with these past few weeks as I quit). When you get triggered, either ignore the craving by realizing it’s only lasting for a couple of minutes or replace the cigarette with something like gum or hard candy.

I’ve read that when you crave something, you’re craving things with nutrients and whatever that you’re missing. You look like you’re craving a lot of meat and dairy products. Why not have something protein and dairy rich with the Snapple?

Actually, I got those cravings BAD sitting in the dorm, on my ass, doing nothing. I’d get bored and all of a sudden be like, “Fries sound really good right now,” even when I wasn’t really all that hungry. It doesn’t happen at all at home (even when I’m bored) but knowing that all of those sugary/fried/high-calorie/high-fat things were just a hop, skip, and a jump away since it was literally next door to my dorm…temptation like no other.

Although lately, I have been drinking a lot of Iced Tea Crystal Light. That -ish is freaking fantastic.

Yea. I didn’t eat any of those things. But I have been eating less than I used to. Like lately, I’ve only eaten once or twice a day, and drink homemade fruit smoothies. Those seem to fill me up a lot. The funny thing is, my school has all of those items, and I never eat them because they suck. Bad school food, made be lose so much weight because I had to survive on coffee and snacks for three months straight ( so unhealthy).

Get a burger, eat the beef, toss the buns, ketchup and mustard.

Increase your protein intake and that should cut down on the cravings.

Chicken is okay but lose the breaded stuff.

“Get a burger, eat the beef, toss the buns, ketchup and mustard.”

not really a burger then lol

It’s a lot easier to buy a hamburger than just a burger patty.

I’ve going into Burger King before and have ordered the double cheeseburger, no bun. They punch it up and give me a plastic container with two cheeseburger patties, ketchup and pickles unless I ask them to skip the ketchup and pickles.

This makes for good diet food.

I lost 45 pounds last year so I should know.
