<p>Before I declare a major, I read that some majors require department approval. Is that only for impacted majors? Or are there some nonimpacted majors that need approval?</p>

<p>Yes approval is for impacted major, engineering majors, and double majors. If your intended major is not one of these then you can declare a major on tritonlink.</p>
