Wrote a lovely heart felt personal email to a friend with the first name Sue.
Realized that Sue X–who I do not even know–is somehow on the list and it was sent to her.
H and I cannot figure out how to delete email addresses from this Mac.
Gads I like PC’s better
help!
On my macbook, while in the email program I can go to “Window” on the top bar and scroll down to “Previous Recipients”. Then find that person’s email address in the list and select “Remove”.
WOW WOW WOW!!!
Yes, worked. Thank you so very much. So easy but somehow we missed it.
H is completely impressed now with CC!
Wrong Sue did not get the email as it did not go and then I deleted immediately.
Would have been very embarrassing as she turned out to be someone in H’s choir!
I have never even met her and he did not remember her until I did a search and she
showed on a Facebook page.
Also make sure you delete the person from Contacts (although that is the first step many try). Earlier this summer, my younger son just showed me the process @zipyourlips outlined above.
