How to delete teacher recommendation after they've submitted

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I’m applying to a Columbia which discourages extra letters of recommendation to be sent, stating that extra ones should be from people like a research advisor. My teachers have already uploaded the form and I can’t remove it (I’ve got 3 letters now). For SEAS they require a math teacher (who doesn’t know me well) and I’ve got recs from my chemistry teacher who knows me for 2 years and a Latin teacher who has taught me for 5 years. I haven’t sent the Common App so what would be the best way to do it? I could always remove the school and then re-add it, but that would mean that the final report wouldn’t show up as my counselor has already uploaded it (I’m an international applicant and I’ve already finished school). I could always get him to reupload it next year as the report is due later.</p>

<p>you can just not add all the teachers to the columbia application. the common app allows you to pick and choose what recommendations go to what schools. go to the “school forms” tab on the common app and it shows you all this.</p>

<p>The problem is that I’ve added 3 teachers to the Columbia app after reading that they accept more than 2 letters on the Common App. Only recently did I find out that they don’t recommend 3 teachers. I need to find a way to remove them.</p>
