<p>So basically, I took a graduate level course called “objective analysis” in the atmospheric sciences department. Its content primarily consists of principal component analysis and spectral analysis - both things that are extremely fundamental to a lot of fields. But of course, the “objective analysis” title doesn’t describe the course’s content to any department - outside of atmospheric sciences. So how and where should I describe what I learned? (on say, an application to grad school)</p>
