<p>I have decided to attend Emory next year, and I am worried on how to do well there…I will be majoring in Economics and will take the basic pre-med classes…I also have very bad study habits…Any input on how much to study(a rough approx on much pre-meds should study), how to study(ie take notes, attend class, get tutors, read the material)…Any input would be appreciated…especially on how to do well to keep my “Science Gpa up”…this inculdes math classes, and science classes, and I think english classes…I am good in social studies classes(history/economics)…but I suck in english, and math…I am okay in the sciences…</p>
<p>English will not be included in your BCPM GPA at all (!!!).</p>
<p>Nobody can tell you how much or how to study, it depends on how capable you are. Just because you’re majoring in the social sciences, doesn’t mean you’re going to struggle in the sciences though. It’s alright to have poor study habits if you can pull it off, but if you’re not doing well… shape up?</p>

<p>make friends with others in your science classes and use them as a gauge on how much, and how to study. From there you’ll figure out what works best for you.</p>
<p>My rule of thumb is to aim for studying the same amount of hours as the credit hours I take. ie, when I take 18 credits, I try to do 18 hours of studying a week. Sometimes need more, sometimes need much less.</p>
