How to enter an activity of two big parts?

I, in a team, went to Nepal to exchange culture with Nepalese.
However, there was a part where our team prepared for the visit; studying about Nepal, preparing presentations to give, and tuning schedules. Then of course there is the part where we actually visited Nepal.

The preparation was made over about 18.7 weeks(about 3.6 hours spent per week), while the actual visit was for 12 days.

The problem is with entering hours spent per week.
Should I calculate the mean value and enter this as one activity, or should I split this into two separate activities?

Also, in cases where days spent per year doesn’t divide nicely into 7, am I doing the right thing in using the mean hours spent per week?(12 days for 24 hours per day = (724 + 524) / 2 ?)

List one as “Coordinator of _____”

And list the other as a participant.

I wasn’t a coordinator.
Are you just saying that I should indeed split the activity into two?

I don’t think you want to use up two of your EC spots on what is really one activity. You could list the preparation hours per week and weeks per year, and then include “12 day trip” in the description.

In the description, put (See Additional Info) and put the description the area for Additional Information.
