<p>FAFSA for the 2009 school year is not available until January 1, 2009. Some schools are asking for PROFILE early especially from those kids applying ED. You may also need info to fill out an online calculator to get an idea of what you may expect to get. What you need to do in those cases is to estimate 2008 income. You have pay stubs and year to date statements to Mid November, so there really is only a month and a half to extrapolate. Or you can use the prior year tax forms and make major adjustments that have occurred since this is estimate only. You are going to be doing a redo when the actual numbers come out. Most people use the prior year tax forms because it is easier to fill out the fin aid forms with that tax info in front of you.</p>
