How to find a topic?

<p>I absolutely have no ideas for my commonapp essay. Okay, so I have a few, but I don’t particularly want to write about them or feel they’re the best topics to show to colleges.</p>

<li><p>A role-playing/make-believe game I play with my sister
-too childish?</p></li>
<li><p>Getting kicked out of Camp
-For this one I didn’t actually do anything wrong, but it may look bad to colleges</p></li>
<li><p>My Bat Mitzvah
-Not particularly interested in this</p></li>
<li><p>Being Bullied
-Trite?
-Also, not too interested</p></li>
</ol>

<p>What can I do to think of ideas?</p>

<p>I like to write and read. I love theatre and performing. I like to bake.</p>

<p>For your second topic, I can see it working as something like overcoming an obstacle, like how unfair things happen in life but you have to move on. If you show it in an amazing positive way like a life lesson, it won’t look bad to colleges.</p>
