how would you find medically related research? do you have to find the professors or what exactly do you have to do/ I don’t understand the whole process here?
and how would you do that kind of research if you are a humanities major?

I contacted my biochem advisor and asked if he had any colleagues who were looking to put some undergrads in their lab. He directed me to someone who shares his lab, and we have just set up a meeting to discuss my role in the lab for the upcoming year. I don’t know if the same process would work for someone who does not attend a research university. Research being a huge deal at my institution, as well as having a medical school probably made things much easier.

I would assume you could still do medically related research as a humanities major as long as the faculty member is willing to have you in his/her lab.
