my counselor says the school doesn’t receive them but I don’t believe him

If you put the CEEB code for your HS on your SAT, then your school definitely receives your scores. But, that doesn’t mean scores will show up on your transcript. Some schools include scores, ECS and other items on transcripts and some don’t. You should request a copy of your transcript from your school before you apply to schools so you can verify what is on it.

is there a way to omit the my high school portion of SAT registration?
or what happens if I select a high school that’s not mine for the SAT, but when I send the score report, it still links to me. Will colleges see what high school I selected on the score report if it’s different from the one I attend?

I’ve never heard of a high school not receiving scores… Some don’t print them on transcripts, but I believe high schools all receive the scores of their students? Could be wrong. Talk directly to the person who prints/sends the transcripts (might be your counselor, or might be the registrar).

Anyways, you’ll have to send your scores directly from Collegeboard/ACT anyway, so it’s not a big deal if the transcript includes them or not.

I suppose but what might a counselor think if he sees a student taking the SAT more than three times? Might write a poorer than otherwise recommendation>
