Anyone who has made a 2000+ on the SAT, what did you do to achieve this?? Any useful information will help!
Have a good base in Geometry, Algebra I and II, and Arithmetic. Be highly intelligent. Have a solid foundation in grammar (catholic schools really help in this area). Take practice tests mimicking the conditions experienced on test day. Try to take the test at a location that is not your highschool so distractions from friends are minimized. Study irrelevant vocabulary for a couple of months. And most importantly R-E-L-A-X. You probably don’t want to take the test and your body will be flooded with adrenaline and other “fight or flight” hormones that will make you anxious. Just relax and remain confident. Also look over some tips about the test that are exclusive to the SATs (shorter answers better for grammar, the word “being” is always wrong, stuff like that). Don’t worry you’ll be fine. Grades are more important than the SATs, don’t stress too much over one test.
Thank you
