My current average is 95.2%, but I would like to raise it to 98%. What are some useful study habits and ideas that I can implement to do this? I usually do homework and study for 2-2.5hours a night currently.

Dude…it’s still an A

Ummmmmm…yeahhhhhhh.

Does your teacher offer extra credit?

Unless you tend to do poorly on certain assignments, there’s not much that we can suggest for you to do/work on. If there’s anything that you do struggle with though, try to devote more time towards mastering the concepts or skills needed for those assignments. If you’re not sure what you need to improve on, I recommend talking to your teacher. He or she could probably give you some feedback on your weaknesses and strengths.

fln… study more than that.
i don’t know for what class you’re talking about, but on average i’m doing homework/studying 6-7hours a night, straight As… top of my class.

but that’s just me. see where your weaknesses are, ie tests, projects, essays, and talk to your teacher on ways to improve. and do EC assignments if they give them, even if you dont do well on them they help a little

That’s weird. 6-7 hours? You must not have time for much else man.

How do you do it?

girl** (:

it’s just how it works… since 4th grade i’ve been used to staying up for hw. sometimes i have fits & cry… but then i look at my report card and thank myself for staying up.

you have fits and cry to maintain a high A? I’m trying hard not to judge right now. The saddest thing is that the OP probably isn’t ■■■■■■■■.

I know that 95.2 is still an A, but isn’t a 4.00 gpa a 100% average, and a 3.92 a 98%, etc?

fln-- at my school, 90-92 is 3.7, 93-6 4.0, and 97-100 4.3

those are UW, and our schools UW goes up to 4.3, our W 4.5

and it’s not “just an A” every point matters (not directed at you fln)

OP, take easier classes. Sink to your level of personal mediocrity.

lol at the try-hard studying 6-7 hours a night.

It works. Seriously.
It’s more tedious work than brain stressing.

Why ever would you want that?

We don’t go to your school or know anything about the classes you are in.

How would we know?

Because nothing is more important than winning high school, am I right? Everybody looks up to the valedictorian!

poineer- the vals at my school since the history of time except last year were liars & cheated their way to the top.

Pioneer, Settle down. She might just enjoy studying/learning. I love learning physics. It’s not always about being val you idiot.

Education is it’s prize.

That and, a high paying job of course

wicked-- it’s not that serious. i didn’t know everything was so literal.

dax- i agree. im not trying to be val, im being the best i can be
Edit: and i liked the thing you sent me!

I study 6-7 hours / night… there’s nothing wrong with that…

Wait did I say study? I meant play call of duty
