Hi. I’m in the midst of some home projects. The only one currently on the horizon that remains to be done is getting the roof replaced. My husband and I picked from three companies that gave us bids. The sales consultant for the company we picked has been very responsive to emails and phone calls. I let him know a few weeks ago that we were “hiring” his company. I let him know that the tree removal and chimney rebuild were scheduled and then, that they were done (early last week). He said he’d contact the production team so that the roof replacement could be scheduled. Nothing happened. I then called the production manager and left a message. He called back once when I wasn’t here but hasn’t responded to two later calls and one email. At this point, should I contact the production manager again, the sales consultant (presumably on the same level as the production manager in the organization’s hierarchy), or the general manager? Thanks.
At this point I would send one email copying all three parties, and saying that you are frustrated at the difficulty in scheduling the work. Ask them to contact you with the installation date by EOD tomorrow, or you will be contacting a different company to do the work.
